Transition to the updated sign view experience

We are in the process of rolling out our updated signing solution and are planning to migrate all accounts on December 3rd 2024. Retail eSign app users will receive an extension  and will be transitioned in January 2025. This will also be communicated via email. If you’re unsure about your transition date or believe a different timeline should apply, please reach out to us.

This update is designed to provide your signatories with a more efficient signing experience, making the workflow easier for both them and you. Continue reading below to learn more about the transition

What changes will be visible for me as a user?

The change will apply to all signing processes, except for pending documents where signing is in progress. With the updated sign view, you'll keep all existing functionality while gaining access to several enhancements aimed at improving the signing process for all parties. These include:

  • Simplified data entry with an optional input form: Make it easier for your signatories to provide the required information by presenting text and date fields, checkboxes and radio buttons in a single form. Once completed, these fields will be automatically populated in the document.

  • Multiple signing options: Signatories can now sign their names in various ways, providing added flexibility.

  • Multiline text fields: Collect more detailed information with the introduction of multiline text fields.

  • Enhanced mobile responsiveness: Enjoy a smoother signing experience on mobile devices, ensuring convenience for signatories on the go.

What do I need to do for the transition?

You can just sit back and relax. The transition will be automatic. All eSign accounts will be transitioned to the updated sign view on December 3rd (Retail eSign app users: January 2025) without any action required from you. All existing functionality will remain and you will automatically benefit from the new design and features. The transition will not affect the security of any of your previous, ongoing or upcoming signing processes.
