Signing page settings: Enable form

When the 'Enable form' setting is activated, a form will be presented to the signing party. This form allows them to enter all required information associated with added fields in the document at once—before proceeding to view and sign the document.

You can activate this option via the 'Settings' tab, under 'Signing page settings', when preparing a document for signing.

Should you keep this setting disabled, the signing party will be required to scroll through the document to locate the fields where information needs to be added. Consequently, enabling the form can help to speed up and streamline the signing process.

All fields located under the 'Parties' tab will be incorporated into the form, which will later on be included in the the sealed document. If you desire these fields to also be visually displayed in the PDF, you should add them to the document on the 'Document' tab. By visually adding fields, they will appear as pre-populated for the receiving party when they proceed to view the document after completing the form.
