Activate two-factor authentication (2FA)

Two-factor authentication (2FA) is an electronic authentication method which means that a user needs to verify themselves with two pieces of evidence. 2FA can be activated for your eSign Online login and is a good option if you want to add an extra layer of security to your account.

You can choose between two different types of 2FA:

  1. Two-factor authentication: With standard 2FA you use an app providing you with a 6-digit code which is only accessible during a certain time limit. For each login, you will need to open the app and then enter the 6-digit code found in the app to the Scrive login page.

  2. Web two-factor authentication: With Web 2FA, you will instead login through using a USB security key or directly on your device with a set password or touch ID.
