Activate two-factor authentication (2FA)

Two-factor authentication (2FA) is an electronic authentication method where a user needs to verify their identity with two forms of verification. We recommend activating 2FA for your eSign Online login to add an extra layer of security to your account.

You can choose between two different types of 2FA setups:

  1. Standard two-factor authentication (2FA): In standard 2FA, you use an app that provides a 6-digit code valid only for a short period. For each login, simply open the app and enter the 6-digit code on the Scrive login page.

  2. Web two-factor authentication (Web 2FA): With Web 2FA, log in using a USB security key, or directly on your device using a preset password or Touch ID.
