Authentication to view, sign and view archived documents
When configuring a document process, you have the option to impose an authentication requirement for your parties. This ensures that parties must verify their identity before they can view or access an archived document, and must sign the document with an eID.
Access & Authentication Settings
View: Authentication is required to open and read the document upon invitation.
Sign: Authentication is required to complete the signing process.
Archived: Authentication is required to access the document once it has been sealed and archived.
If you select the No extra authentication setting, the party won't need to verify their identity to view, open the archived document, or sign the document, respectively.
